Slick Sapporo clocked 28.67sec, a time that was matched by Slick Robert, who beat Slick Ace by five and a half lengths in a two-dog workout. The John McGee-trained Oran Legend outran Tullymurry Act by one and three-quarter lengths in 28.74sec, two spots slower than kennelmate Oran Classic had earlier recorded in defeating Mustang Johnny by two lengths.
