Fury and Reason hot for Laurels semi-finals

DEANRIDGE FURY and Farloe Reason, disputing outright favouritism for the Category One competition, are 11-10 favourites with the sponsor for their respective Betfred Laurels semi-finals over 470m at Belle Vue tomorrow.

The Charlie Lister-trained Farloe Reason is first to go in the opening semi where the market suggests he has most to fear from 9-4 chance Boherna On Air, while Boherna Best and Mustang Garcia are 7-2 joint second favourites behind the Dean Childs-trained Deanridge Fury, who will be bidding to stretch his unbeaten record at the track to five, in the second.

Elaine Parker’s Prodigious, whose British career to date comprises two races and two wins at Belle Vue, is rated 13-8 favourite to further enhance that record in the third semi-final.

*The first two in each of tomorrow’s semis qualifyfor next Tuesday’s, live on Sky Sports, final which is worth £10,000 to the winner.
