THREE semi-finals the Caffreys Puppy Classic were run at Nottingham on Monday night and fastest qualifier going forward to next Monday's £7,500 category one final is Ballymac Eske.

Barrie Draper's superstar was sent off the 1-5 favourite and turned the race into an exhibition round when leading from the start and slowly but surely forging clear from the third bend onwards to beat kennelmate Farley Semour by 9 1/4L in a stunning 29.30sec.
The second semi-final was a carbon copy of a first round clash when Kim Billingham's Whittle Murtagh (4-5F) came from off the pace to catch tearaway Garlyn Rocky by 3/4L in 29.91sec.
Dean Childs' Droopys Ed Moses (4-5F) had to overcome a very poor start to win the third semi. He enjoyed a dream run around the first two bends to move into fourth position down the far side.
Then switching outside on the final two turns, he came home strongly to sweep past Droopys English on the run-in to score by 1 1/2L in 30.03sec.

Earlier on the card Carol Weatherall's Dynamo Joe (1-2F) got the better of Big Local in a ding-dong battle - winning the sprint by a short-head in a speedy 17.73sec.

The Bags card closed with the Westview Kennels Dual Distance final for which team Weatherall were on the scoresheet again when Holdem Spy (4-1), who got the run of the race on a scrappy first two bends, led down the far side and ran out a comfortable winner.

ROMFORD'S Bags card included the weekly round of Coral On TV heats - this event being for the 575m Stayers.
The opening eliminator saw Kevin Hutton's Hiding Escort (4-1) stay on best to record 35.93sec while Mark Wallis's Mountjoy Orion was faster and more impressive in taking heat two in 35.51sec.
In the third qualifier trainer Paul Young had four runners and it was his Millstreet Scar (5-1) that got up close home to deny kennelmate and 7-4 jolly Lolos Lee the success in a time of 35.87sec.
Draw for Friday's £750 final live on RPGTV.
1 Risky Rosaleen, 2 Lolos Lee, 3 Mountjoy Orion, 4 Mays Harvestmoon, 5 Millstreet Scar (w), 6 Hiding Escort (w).
