All-weather specialist Sky Crusader scores

ALL-WEATHER specialist Sky Crusader provided a one-two for his trainer Markus Nigge when he easily won at Deauville on Thursday by two lengths from Eire with Fleur Enchantee a further away half length away in third.

The Michael Jarvis-trained Philatelist finished sixth. 

Ridden by Thomas Huet, Sky Crusader was recording his eleventh victory on the surface. The-seven-year-old started favourite after a fourth placed effort in the Group 3 September Stakes at Kempton Park last time.

Nigge said "He won well and the race had a good rhythm which he  likes. We will now find a race at Cagnes over ten furlongs in another Listed  event."
