START ME UP, favourite for Thursday's Goffs Thyestes Chase at Gowran, has been ruled out of the race with a high temperature.
Trainer Charlie Swan was forced to rule the 8-1 shot out of the race on Thursday morning and is unlikely to try to run him again in Saturday's Leopardstown Handicap Chase.
Swan said: "We take their temperatures in the morning and his was just slightly high so he can't run. It's a bit gutting actually. He's in the Leopardstown Chase on Saturday, but Stephanie Kate will run in that."
Start Me Up's withdrawal leaves the door open for first reserve Tullintain and trainer Robert Tyner has confirmed he will take his place. Philip Enright is booked to ride the 20-1 shot.
