RSA CHASE favourite Time For Rupert delighted connections when he continued his Cheltenham build-up with a private gallop on Friday morning.
Trainer Paul Webber took him for a workout on a specially provided fresh strip of ground at Peter Cundell's yard in Compton, where the chaser was ridden by regular partner William Kennedy.
"Rupert worked really well and I was very happy with him," Kennedy said on Twitter.
"Another bit next week and he'll be spot on for the RSA."
Time For Rupert, runner-up in the Ladbrokes World Hurdle last season, has won both his races over fences this term, although he missed his latest intended appearance in the Argento Chase at Cheltenham last month after scoping badly.
He is a best-priced 5-2 favourite for the RSA Chase with Bet365 and Paddy Power.
