Hughes bids to continue hot streak at Windsor
JOCKEY Richard Hughes has been in blistering form over the past seven days and he will bid to continue his sensational run of form at Windsor on Monday evening.
Hughes partnered 13 winners last week - the highlight a sparkling four-timer at Ascot and Lingfield on Saturday - and he has six good chances to add to his tally tonight.
He will partner Califante (6.10), Impel (8.10) and Juvenal (8.40) for boss Richard Hannon along with Kiss A Prince (6.40), Castilo Del Diablo (7.10) and Bernisdale (7.40).
Califante is well fancied to land the opening maiden, which the pair won with Free Verse last season, and 6-1 chance Impel will bid to follow up his last-time-out victory in the 6f handicap.
Hughes, who has a 21 per cent strike-rate at the track, is bound to be popular aboard morning favourite Kiss A Prince for Dean Ivory in the seller while the John Flint-trained Bernisdale is no bigger than 5-1 for the 1m2f handicap.
This afternoon's action comes from Southwell, Cartmel and Ayr, where the Richard Fahey-trained Cheeky Wee Red will bid to secure the hat-trick in the first division of the Racing Post Form With Totepool Mobile Handicap at 3.05pm.
Windsor, Beverley and Ballinrobe take centre stage this evening.
