Harry Wilson fires in a hat-trick of winners including a 14-1 tip - find out his best bets for the rest of Friday's racing

Our tipster provides his fancies for the big races on ITV

Harry Wilson returns with his advice for all seven races on Newmarket's card – plus the three races live on ITV from Goodwood . . .

1.10 Newmarket
Darley EBF Maiden Fillies' Stakes, 1m2f

Harry's tip: Pearla

Zgharta sets a solid standard and could put her experience to good use over this longer trip, but the William Haggas-trained Pearla catches the eye on paper. Bought for 425,000gns at Tattersalls Book 1 yearling sale in October, she's bred to be smart, being a half-sister to Prix de l'Opera winner Place Du Carrousel, and holds an entry in the Irish Oaks.

1.45 Newmarket
Nyetimber Newmarket Stakes (Listed), 1m2f

Harry's tip: Aurel

Aurel overcame obvious greenness to beat a hot Godolphin favourite in a Kempton maiden in November, finding plenty in the last couple of furlongs despite racing keenly in the rear. That form has been franked with subsequent wins from the second and third and he brings potential now stepping up in trip. He should have learned plenty from his debut and, with a first-time hood hopefully enabling him to settle better, he can go some way to justifying his entries in the Dante and Derby.

2.20 Newmarket
Trustatrader King Charles II Stakes (Listed), 7f

Harry's tip: Cosmic Year

Cosmic Year looked a seriously exciting colt when bolting up by six and a half lengths on his debut at Sandown in September, form that looks solid given the runner-up had previously finished a close second to unbeaten Champagne Stakes winner Bay City Roller, and he confirmed his quality when showing an electric turn of foot to justify short odds on his return at Kempton last month. He's bred to be smart, being a brother to Group 3 winner Tempus and a half-brother to Group 1 winner Time Test, and should take this en route to bigger targets.

Harry's tip: Rosario

Rosario showed plenty of ability as a juvenile, following up his debut win with placed efforts in the Group 2 Flying Childers at Doncaster and the Group 3 Cornwallis Stakes over course and distance in October 2023, when he may have even won had he not hung in behind the winner, who made all, late on. Bar an all-weather handicap after 244 days off the track in December, he had raced only at 6f, including going close at Chelmsford (poorly drawn) and Kempton (outstayed late on), before running well at Newmarket last month, when he wasn't helped by racing without cover. The cheekpieces, which his half-brothers Urban Crawl and Dubai Hope both wore when winning, are retained and he's on an attractive mark.

2.55 Newmarket
Betfred "The Classic Bookmaker" Handicap, 1m

Harry's tip: Fort George

Fort George ran well in each of his three starts on the all-weather, catching the eye with a strong finish when fourth on his debut at Kempton before going down by half a length in a pair of Newcastle novices. The fifth from his debut has since won the Listed Blue Riband Trial, while the two who finished in front of him last time have franked the form, with the winner placing in a handicap off a mark of 82 and the second scoring next time. He's been gelded since and a mark of 79 looks more than fair on his handicap debut.

3.10 Goodwood
British Stallion Studs EBF Daisy Warwick Fillies' Stakes (Listed), 1m4f

Harry's tip: Allonsy

Allonsy was a rapid improver when fitted with cheekpieces last year, winning four handicaps in a row before ending the campaign with a second in a Listed contest on her first go at 1m6f at Ascot in October, when the soft ground didn't seem to suit. Her dam Alyssa won that contest as a three-year-old before landing a Group 2 the following year and, if wind surgery has brought her forward, there's every chance Allonsy will continue to improve this season.

3.30 Newmarket
Betfred "Nifty 50" Handicap, 7f

Harry's tip: Physique

Physique caught the eye of the stewards on his stable debut/reappearance for Pam Sly, coming home well from off the pace to take fourth at Doncaster in March, doing best of those on his side. He couldn't back that up over 6f at this course next time, but all of his best form is over further and he is now 2lb lower than when winning over 7f at Galway last August. He's a course-and-distance winner with no weight on his back and should put up a better showing under Hollie Doyle.

Harry's tip: Capote's Dream

Capote's Dream hasn't won since August 2023, but he's run plenty of good races since and his course experience could hold him in good stead. He's gone close over this course and distance on a couple of occasions, including off much higher marks, and should go well with his reappearance under his belt.

4.05 Newmarket
Betfred Jockey Club Stakes (Group 2), 1m4f

Harry's tip: Ambiente Friendly

Ambiente Friendly was rather disappointing on his reappearance in the Earl of Sefton, but he took a keen hold in front over a trip short of his best and was likely in need of the run, just as he was at the same meeting last year. He stepped up massively on his second start last year to take the Lingfield Derby Trial before placing in both the English and Irish Derbys and if he can get back to that high-class form now over a more suitable trip, he's a big player.

4.45 Newmarket
Oddschecker Fillies' Handicap, 6f

Harry's tip: Circe

Rosy Affair was progressive last year, albeit creeping up the weights courtesy of a few seconds in a row, but she will have run right up to her best off this career-high mark after a break and I'd rather side with Circe, who is race-fit after a couple of recent runs over 7f, latterly when well supported. She ran well on her only go at sprinting at Kempton in October and gets the services of Ryan Moore, which is a positive.
