The racing menu
Beside the home icon on the racingpost.com home page, you'll find six different areas - racing, sport, greyhounds, bloodstock, services and gaming.
Click on racing and a white border will illuminate the menu item.
Within the racing section are six categories. Select one by using the horizontal menu below - an arrow will indicate the category you have selected.
- News
Displays the latest racing news stories. The menu on the right of each story, in the centre of the page, directs you via separate headings to related stories (if there are any), today's top stories and a comprehensive list of all the latest stories. Click on the red heading to access each section.
In addition, there are also red headings for the latest reports, racing business news and going and non-runners.
- Cards
Displays our all-new racingpost.com racecards for all meetings in Britan and Ireland, plus the best of the overseas action.
Click on the red arrow beside today's date for a calendar choice and click on the red arrow beside the Choose Race heading for a menu of every race that day.
Just click on the race to display the card.Clicking on the Show all the day's cards link will display all races that day. You can choose to order the list by meeting or by time.
Our new racecards are one of the most exciting features of racingpost.com and are explained in full in a separate section of the help guide.
- Results
Use the Results section in the same way as Cards. Beneath the choices of date and meeting, you can use the tabs to switch between the day's results and an index of the day's runners, displaying their starting price and finishing position.
- Tipping
Our exclusive online content from the Racing Post's experts supplies you with Pricewise update, Trading update, key stats and in-running pointers for the day's action. Click on the red heading to get to the menu for each.
- Statistics
Jockeys, trainers, owners, horses, sires and sires' first crops: you can order each table by any of the table headings by clicking on the heading. A red arrow will denote the heading by which your table is ordered. Clicking on the arrow will stack the table in reverse order.
- Courses
A full directory of all British courses. Click on the course name for a new window displaying a comprehensive guide to each course: fixtures, directions, admission details, record of principal races and recent news stories concerning the course can all be accessed with the first row of tabs.
The secondrow of tabs will give you standard times, course statistics for jockeys, trainers and owners, and course maps with characteristics.
