Countdown begins to yet another Super Sunday

Welcome to my first blog on Soccerbase! Each week the guys here at Racing & Football Outlook will aim to hopefully entertain and provide the odd winning tip! First up Super Sundays and the African Cup of Nations...

All told, we've counted about 52 Super Sundays on Sky this season at Outlook Towers, and that's just since the turn of the year.

While all that telly hype can drift into the realms of Spinal Tap - 'these amps go to 11' - this weekend's footy is a real  drooler with red-card Mancini's mob taking on Tottenham and Arsene Wenger inviting Fergie and his boys over to the Emirates for a glass or two of claret.

As we're sitting down here in London village it should be fairly obvious where our money will be going this weekend - quite simply, it's got to be Manchester 2 London 0.

This weekend also sees the start of the Africa Cup of Nations, and even if you're not a big game hunter, the events in Equatorial Guinea and Gabon could seriously affect your betting in the Prem.

Our current RFO is chock-full of profiles, data, stats and facts for the ACN, and one in particular caught my eye. Newcastle have lost Demba Ba to the ACN - 15 goals in 19 Premier League games, or 50% of the Magpies'  total goals – and could only manage one shot on target against QPR last week, so we can't see much goal action for the travelling Toon at Craven Cottage.

While Fulham may be a bit flakey, they've beaten Liverpool and Arsenal on their own turf and drawn with Man City, so with their fans in the Neutrals Stand creating a cauldron of emotion, it's London 1 Geordies 0.
