Silly Emirates unrest can inspire Keane and Villa
I WONDER how Robbie Keane is feeling this morning?
I was casting my mind back last week, trying to remember the time when he was good.
It all seemed to fall apart for him when he went to Liverpool, the
first of his boyhood clubs who obtained his services and now he is out to grass in the MLS.
Then what happens?
He signs on loan for Aston Villa and rolled back the years with a couple of goals at Molineux, the place where it all started.
Now, if he can raise his game against the teams he used to play for, can he do it against the teams just down the road from the teams he used to play for?
We're about to find out as Villa head to Arsenal for their fourth-round clash.
No I fancy Villa might get at least another shot at the Gunners on their own patch.
Lifes not good at the Emirates, but it did make me laugh when the crowd were singing 'You don't know what you're doing' to Arsene Wenger.
Do they want Bruce Rioch back by any chance?
What Keane has brought to Villa is a spark that they have been missing for most of the season and he is likely to revel in the hostility he will be dished out.
He can get them a draw, I reckon.
