Rovers and out for me after learning lesson

OH great. Chelsea are on the box again.

They’ve ruined my finances about a million times these last few weeks and every single time I oppose them Bobby Di Matteo and his merry men do the business.

I’ve heard of the saying once bitten, twice shy but when you’re talking about four, five and six it’s just plain stupid so I will be leaving Chelsea versus QPR off all the coupons on Sunday.

No doubt QPR will dominate, hit the woodwork twice and then lose so I will keep the powder dry before the superior betting heat of the afternoon comes on the tele - Blackburn’s trip to Tottenham, where the White Hart Lane mob are begging to be taken on.

I reckon I would even consider backing Wolves to beat Spurs on their present form and this is the same Rovers who beat Manchester United at Old Trafford. Yes, I know it was a long time ago but it feels even longer since Spurs last had a decent result.

Vedran Corluka, Tottenham’s right-back who is on loan in Germany doing the same impression of a snail that impressed Harry Redknapp so much during his spell in north London, reckons the Spurs squad are tired but do me a favour, playing football a couple of times a week is hardly like hard work. You try betting for a living pal, now that’s hard work.

More likely, Spurs have lost their confidence, the players know Redknapp is off to England in the summer and they have bottled it in the race for a top-four finish.
