Idle mind has alighted on Inter-Stevenage double

I’D just like to rule myself out of the running for the Wolves job.

That probably won’t be a surprise to many of you but I clocked that Alan Curbishley has also ruled himself out, so I thought it’d be better if I went public.

Like him, I’ve got no obvious qualifications for the Wolves gig having also spent the last four years twiddling my thumbs, but there is only so much daytime TV you can watch before you want to get back on the treadmill, eh.

Still there’ll be other opportunities for me and Al.

Fergie’ll probably not last more than a couple of seasons so me and Curbs can perhaps toast the anniversary of a sixth year of doing nothing by lobbing in an application.

Actually the Inter Milan job could well be up for grabs soon cos Claudio Ranieri’s got to be on his bike soon.

Interested Alan? I should imagine they’d be gutted if you weren’t to bang off a letter.

Inter are proving harder to follow than a Corrie storyline right now, have vanished from a Serie A title race they were never really in, and need to avoid defeat in Marseille or that’ll probably spell the end for Ranieri.

I actually quite fancy them to spring a surprise at a decent price.

I’ve never been a fan of French club football, think Marseille are chronically over-rated and Inter are criminally over-priced.

Stick ‘em in a double with Stevenage who must be buzzing after that draw with Spurs and can take care of Notts County at Meadow Lane.
