Hot Spurs can make up for West End shocker

I did warn you that West End Rocker was carrying my Nash cash yesterday, so we'll move swiftly on after his West End shocker of a second-fence fall.

We've gotplenty of time to think about today's big game because the Spurs v Chelsea FA Cup semi-final doesn't kick off until 6pm.

What's that all about? The best bit about big football matches on a Sunday is that even Mrs B recognises that you're allowed to veto mundane family tasks in order to see them.

Whereas today she reckons she can drag me around Ikea for a full eight hours and still deposit me on the sofa in time to see 'Arry and RDM deploy their troops at Wembley.

After two late Andy Carroll winners in a week I'm sorely tempted to lump the Bunter bank on a Torres hat-trick asclearly the planets are aligned in a most unusual way.

But trusting logic rather than crackpot theories, I'll instead be backing Tottenham to book themselves a return trip to the twin, erm, underneath the arch.

Chelsea have been scraping by under Di Matteo and I reckon it could be lucky for Spurs when the year ends in two.
