Finding ways to deal with lack of live Prem action

THE lack of live Premier League action on Saturday has infuriated me to such an extent that I'm considering writing to my local MP.

I've heard some people say that at least you can watch Sky Sports News as the goals fly in but those people clearly aren't married.

I can get away with a couple of hours with Jeff Stelling when the live games are on – I reckon Mrs Bunter thinks it's just some kind of half-time analysis – but I can't bear the thought of trying to convince her to spend Saturday in the house solely so I can watch a few shouty blokes reading out the scores.

I suppose she would have a point but that doesn't mean it's a good idea to go to see the in-laws.

It's a terrible situation and you can probably guess at the coping
mechanism I intend to use to help deal with it.

My personal protestat this appalling state of affairs will be to try to have a wager on every single non-live match.

Chelsea v Sunderland reeks of a both teams to score bet, Manchester United should win by a clear margin against Bolton, Aston Villa v Everton is going to be a dull affair, probably under 2.5 goals, Fulham's trip to Blackburn could be tight and end in a draw, Liverpool may take until the second half to make the breakthrough against Stoke
but should come good, Tottenham look a shade too short to beat Wolves now that the pressure is building and West Brom are certainties to at least score against Norwich.

There you go, who says you need to watch football to find out what happens?
