Don't whinge if you miss Dons and Albion value

HE’S at it again. Blaming everyone except himself.

The reason Arsenal lost at Swansea according to Arsene Wenger? Bad refereeing and bad defending.

The bad refereeing bit just doesn’t stack up as usual and only makes him look increasingly ludicrous.

As for the bad defending; well you bought the clowns.

We all told you Per Mertesacker was a joke; indeed we’d all been laughing at him for donkey’s years, or Tony Adams’ time as it’s otherwise known.

Mind you what Wenger wouldn’t give to have Big Tone back at the heart of what passes for a back four these days.

Or Martin Keown.

Or indeed anyone other than the crop of liabilities he’s got there at the moment.

Except perhaps Pascal Cygan.

Anyway Arsene has got a whinge-free few days to look forward to with FA Cup replays to focus our minds and I reckon there’s a couple of big-priced winners to be had in these third-round ties.

I don’t think it’s beyond the realms of possibility that the MK Dons can knock out QPR atLoftus Road.

All that new manager cobblers didn’t do the Hoops any favours at Newcastle on Sunday and with key players missing I reckon the Dons can play their supposedly superior hosts off the park, just as they did in the first match between them.

The Dons are a decent side and the same is true of Brighton, who look overpriced at Wrexham.

The semi-scousers are going great guns in the Conference but that’s still a three divisionbridge to gulf and Albion have got to be a decent price.
