Comeback kid Suarez can delight adoring Anfield
ALL eyes will be on Luis Suarez when he makes his long-awaited comeback against Tottenham and in my opinion it's absolutely nailed on that he scores at Anfield on Monday.
Suarez will be champing at the bit – which makes a change from opponents' shoulder which happened during his time at Ajax – following his suspension for various misdemeanours but you just know it will be a victorious return in front of his adoring public.
The Kop will be in full voice to show their support for Suarez and this looks a case of wrong time wrong place for Spurs, who had one of the weirdest transfer deadline-days in history.
I would have been happy to lay a million to one for them signing Louis Saha and Ryan Nelsen – particularly as I assumed Nelsen had retired in the summer – and Saha's been about as useful as a chocolate teapot for Everton this season.
So no, I don't fancy Tottenham and I'm fully expecting to hear "Suarez, who else?" from the commentator as the Uruguayan comes back to the Premier League with a bang.
