Bank Holiday provides some handy form study time
It’s a Bank Holiday at the end of the week rather than the start and what better way to spend it than having a study-up on the weekend football.
But, hold on a minute, there’s a feast of matches to get stuck into as well so why not take the opportunity of having two yankees instead of one.
Swansea against Newcastle in the live Premier League action looks a bit close to call, so I’ll be looking elsewhere.
There’s three games that interest me and I fancy Swindon to get the job done at Morecambe as the Shrimps have lost ten home matches this season and Paolo Di Canio’s boys are marching towards the title.
Gillingham look a decent price to beat Bristol Rovers who have virtually nothing to play for and Northampton have dragged themselves out of trouble and look a decent shout at home to Oxford, who wereshocked by Morecambe last time out.
And then Scunthorpe can beat Exeter. They’re terrible.
That can get the long weekend off to a decent start. Let’s hope so anyway.
