Take some chances if you want to claim my bounty
SIR ALEX FERGUSON and Arsene Wenger are sitting cosily in the home manager's office. They are discussing tactics, their team sheet and their intended method of victory, willingly divulging every iota of information on request while stating their flaws and encouraging exploitation.
Sounds perverse really, considering this is before the game but, in a round about way, this is what I am about to do with you, the hopeful bounty hunters.
Hopefully, I am going to give you the ammunition to successfully knock me out of Saturday's Racing Post tournament.
My first piece of advice is to take some chances early on. Similar to general rebuy strategy, you will need to take more chances to knock one of us out. However, this may be easier said than done, as when we are in a pot we are more likely to have a strong hand because we are aware of your intentions to knock us out and will adjust our play accordingly.
The way to combat our approach is to chase, chase, and chase some more.
Try to bust our high pairs with your straight and flush draws. If you see us all-in be aware we have a very strong hand.
Calling with hands such as AQ, KQ, AJ, A10 should be out of the question as you will most likely be dominated.
In position, however, you could call with speculative hands like 89 suited, if the pot odds permit. If you lose, you can rebuy.
I feel kind of dirty having written this. It's not ground breaking stuff, but basic concepts that must be grasped and situations that need to be manufactured in order togive you a chance of claiming a bounty.
It feels weird to say it, but good luck
