Well, that wasn't very good, was it? No excuses and no hard-luck stories; I simply picked all the wrong horses. It's only money. Actually, it's not even that. It's only pretend money.
My friend Alex - he has his own blog at lansonboy.blogspot.com - picked out three winners, so perhaps he should have this job instead. No doubt he'll be crowing over his success, sending me faintly obscene text messages and tips for today's action. But it's all right, because I know who's going to win today. This lot.
